Charlene Potts

And since we are on the topic of awards, I would like to give mention to an illustrator friend who has garnered numerous accolades over the years for her wonderful work. After receiving her BFA from Parsons, Charlene Potts entered the workplace, and has graced us with her collages and drawings for about 15 years. Her technique is refreshing and many of you will find comfort in her signature style which has been published in Time Out New York, the Wall Street Journal, and the New York Times, to name a few. One of her proudest achievements is the mural project she completed for the children’s gallery in The George Washington Carver Museum in Austin Texas. She is currently launching a new venture for pet lovers of which you can get a sneak peak here.
